Wonderweave: Learning Games — Privacy Policy

In short

• Wonderweave does not collect, store on any server, share or sell any personal information, from children or from adults.
• There are no accounts, no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking.
• Everything the game remembers (profiles, progress, settings) stays on your device only.
• Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details.

1. Information we do not collect

The app does not ask for, collect or transmit:

• names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses or dates of birth;
• photos, videos, audio recordings, contacts, calendar or files;
• precise or approximate location;
• device identifiers, the advertising ID or any other identifier used to track a person;
• usage statistics, analytics, crash reports or diagnostics;
• any messages or content created by the child (the app has no chat and no sharing features).

The app does not use the camera or the microphone and does not request any special Android permission for its games. The app carries the Internet permission and the standard permission of the Google Play Billing Library; they are used only to talk to Google Play when a grown-up buys or restores the full game. Playing never needs the internet.

2. Information stored on your device only

To let children continue where they stopped, the app saves a small file inside its own private storage on the device. It contains:

• the child profiles: for each child, only the avatar picture chosen in the game (no name, no photo, no age);
• each child's progress: levels finished, stars earned, and words to practise again in the spelling game;
• settings: the chosen language, sound and voice options;
• whether the full game has been bought on this device (a simple "unlocked" status).

This file never leaves the device. We cannot see it, and it is not sent to us or to anyone else. It is excluded from Android cloud backup. A parent can delete an individual child's profile and progress in the grown-ups' panel. To delete all Wonderweave data stored on the device, including settings and the local purchase-unlock record, clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall the app.

3. Voice

Momo's instructions are pre-recorded and play from inside the app. When a line has no recording, the app may ask the device's own text-to-speech engine to read it. The app only passes the game's own instruction sentences to that engine, never any personal information. The text-to-speech engine is part of your device's operating system and is covered by its provider's terms.

4. Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The first five levels of every game are free. A single one-time purchase that gives access to levels 6–30 of every game can be bought through Google Play Billing, only after a parent gate (a multiplication question). There is no subscription.

• The payment is processed by Google, under Google's own terms and privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
• We do not receive your name, email address, card number or any other payment details.
• The app receives from Google Play, on the device, only the purchase status (for example "full game bought") and the technical purchase confirmation Google provides, which it uses solely to unlock the levels. This information is not sent to us or to any server we run.
• After the purchase the whole game plays fully offline. After a reinstall or on a new device, "Restore purchase" (in the unlock screen) asks Google Play for the purchase again. Refunds follow Google Play's policies.

5. No advertising, no third parties

• The app shows no advertising of any kind and contains no advertising software.
• The app contains no third-party analytics, tracking, social media or data-collection software.
• The only outside service the app talks to is Google Play, on the device, for purchases.
• The app contains no social-media links and no links to other apps. The grown-ups' area, behind the parent gate, links to this privacy policy; purchases and restores go through Google Play.

6. Children's privacy

Wonderweave is made for children and is designed to follow the spirit and the letter of children's privacy laws, including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation rules for children (GDPR Article 8, "GDPR-K"), as well as the Google Play Families Policy.

Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, there is nothing for which parental consent is needed and nothing that could be disclosed. The parent gate keeps settings, profile deletion and purchases out of children's reach.

If you believe a child has somehow sent us personal information (for example by emailing us), contact us at jbassem@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your rights

Because we do not hold any personal data about you or your child, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on our side. All data lives on your device and is under your control (see section 2). You are still welcome to contact us with any question, and you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Security

The data the app keeps stays in the app's private storage on your device, which other apps cannot read. The app does not send any data over the internet. The only communication is the purchase check with Google Play described in section 4, which Google Play carries out.

9. Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects privacy, we will update this policy, change the effective date above, and, where the change is significant, explain it in the app's release notes before the change takes effect. We will never start collecting personal information from children without first updating this policy and obtaining any consent the law requires.
